EMPTY BOWLS: A Community Celebration Supporting The People’s House and the Arbutus Folk School!

Ceramic and wood-turned bowls are donated by
local ceramic artists and the Woodturners of Olympia
The event takes place at the Arbutus Folk School: 610 4th Ave E, Olympia, WA 98501
(across 4th Ave from City Hall)
Warm up with some soup, bread, and drinks and take home a handmade ceramic or woodturned bowl or cup! All bowls and cups have been kindly donated by local ceramic and woodturning artists, many of whom are instructors and volunteers at the Arbutus Folk School. Tickets for the event are $35 and include selecting a handmade bowl or cup to take home. Additional cups and bowls can be purchased for $25 each. Ticket also includes soup, bread, dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage! Beer, wine, and Whitewood Cider will be available for purchase. Come early for the best selection of bowls!
Donations received from the event will be shared with The People’s House and the Arbutus Folk School. The People’s House is an emergency overnight shelter that also coordinates mental health and emergency basic needs services for the Olympia area.
